High-precision positioning solutions for space applications

In the space sector, requirements for precision, stability and reliability are critical. The precision hexapods (Stewart platforms) developed by Symétrie are now widely used to meet these requirements, throughout the development, qualification and system integration phases.

Our solutions are particularly suited to:

The alignment and integration of space instruments
Test and environmental qualification benches
The positioning of sensitive optical and mechanical equipment
Test interfaces for on-board systems
Applications related to Earth observation, telecommunications and space science

Thanks to their high mechanical rigidity, sub-micrometre precision and excellent repeatability, our hexapods support the most demanding space projects, from the laboratory right through to near-operational environments.
